A canal-house kitchen rebuilt around one long working wall, so the cooking side stays clear and the storage disappears into the depth of the room. The island was drawn as one curve to keep the walk to the window open, and the limestone top was left honed so water marks fade instead of setting. Everything used daily sits within one step of the hob.
